Ahead of AEW Full Gear at the Kia Forum, AEW Stars and fans competed in various basketball competitions at AEW Together's All Elite Dunk & Shoot to benefit Los Angeles' own Brotherhood Crusade! As AEW Stars took the court, RJ City and Lexy Nair led the show in pre-game interviews. AEW Star Harley Cameron started the games with a beautiful performance of the National Anthem, followed by Satnam Singh and Ethan Page facing off in a slam dunk contest. Doubling as cheerleaders for the night, Taya Valkyrie, Willow Nightingale and Red Velvet led the stands in support for each team, while Paul Wight and Daddy Magic provided commentary for each event. Orange Cassidy kept it cool on the sidelines, while Matt Taven, Roderick Strong, and Mike Bennett took the court for a free-throw contest. Swerve Strickland, Danny Garcia, The Infantry, and Nyla Rose also faced off against fans in a 3-point contest and a giant game of knockout!
The event benefitted Brotherhood Crusade, a 50-year-old grassroots organization with a vision of improving quality of life and meeting the unmet needs of low-income, underserved, under-represented, and disenfranchised individuals.
